Brushed Brass Cuff Bracelet

While the description of this cuff bracelet does not indicate it was "Treated with a special anti-tarnish finish", that description is on other pieces of brass jewelry. Specifically, the Anti Tarnish Brass Eye Chain, which I also bought. I inferred all the brass is treated against tarnishing.

Both the cuff and eye chain began to tarnish immediately, to the point where both now look like antique brass. It seems the finish wears off rapidly; the alloy composition of the brass used might also be a factor in rapid tarnishing.

I've been wearing solid brass cuffs for over 50 years, and none has tarnished to this extent.

That said, I do like both the cuff and eye chain (which I converted to a bracelet), and I wear them daily, but I would like them to be shinier.
